Like i know ice hockey is on an ice rink and inline is on a floor but like what else is different?
size of the rink/floor?
Other than the obvious, inline hockey has made some rule changes over the years. Recently inline hockey is played without any offsides or icings of any kind, it is pretty much an all wide open hockey. Plus the game is played 4 on 4 and the rink dimensions are same as a regular ice rink, as a matter of fact most arenas melt their ice after the winter for inline hockey in the summer. As for equipment many players find that it is just cheaper to use their ice hockey pads for inline but manufacturers still make gear specifically for inline hockey. Another piece of equipment you will find different is the puck, the dimensions are the same as a regular ice hockey puck but it is lighter and flies a lot quicker.
In ice hockey, they wear ice skates, and they use roller-blades in inline hockey.
