Adidas falls plan to sell ice hockey business as talks fail


HERZOGENAURACH, Germany (Reuters) — Adidas AG provides dropped the program to sell its hockey business as potential buyers did not make offers interesting enough for the German sports apparel firm, Chief Executive Herbert Hainer stated on Thursday night.

Hainer got said in Nov that Adidas had been approached by several parties interested in purchasing the ice hockey business.

The particular ice hockey business suffered an 18 percent drop in sales in the fourth one fourth of this past year as a result of month-long lockout in the National Hockey Little league as owners and gamers battled over the labor offer.

Adidas previously reported fourth-quarter monetary results.
